James Asante Jr is a Bronx raised Ghanaian-American Photographer, Skateboarder and Creative Strategist whom was introduced to visual art at the age of 8 and have loved capturing all aspects of life from the moment he picked up his first camera. Following his introduction to photography, he would take pictures of his friends and family on his disposable camera which allowed him to gain an understanding of the way the camera operated. It wasn’t until he became involved with skateboarding that the skill evolved into capturing candid photos of others on his first digital camera, amplifying his love and endurance for art. This then branched into other forms of creativity including fashion, concerts, and portrait photography, allowing him to fully express my artistic intuition
